International Synergies was established in 2005 and is widely acknowledged for its global expertise in the practical application of Industrial Symbiosis; devising and managing programmes across five continents working with public and private sector clients.
Our demand-led facilitative approach of implementing Industrial Symbiosis has received global recognition and is cited as being one of the world’s top 50 ‘Green Game Changing’ solutions by the World Wildlife Fund and best practice within the European Waste Framework Development.
We employ over 30 staff across three offices; Birmingham (Head office), Belfast and Brussels and work closely with a range of commercial and innovation partners including the URS Corporation, Wuppertal Institute, Delpht University of Technology and Paris Institute of Technology.
To date we have assisted in the set up and implementation of industrial symbiosis projects in Belgium, Brazil, China, Hungary, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, South Africa, Turkey, UK and the USA.
