Dr David-Huw Owen - Commercial Development Manager

David graduated from Cardiff University with an MEng in Civil Engineering and a PhD in geo-environmental numerical modelling.

Since then he has managed numerous international collaborative research projects related to contaminated land, reclamation, remediation and industrial waste management. He has served a number of committees and forums, published over 30 papers and has led the coordination of almost 100 public engagement events including national workshops, seminars and International Conferences and Congresses. He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

In 2006 he was seconded to the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation to work on projects delivering programmes of education and awareness of persistent organic pollutants in both Nigeria and Ghana.
