On the 21st-22nd November the Slovenian Government (a partner in Interreg project SYMBI) will be hosting an industrial symbiosis conference and workshop. Industrial Symbiosis Limited our not for profit business, will give the welcome address alongside the host, a Slovenian Minister.
Later this week the leader of Birmingham City Council, Councillor Ian Ward, is attending the Eurocities conference in Slovenia which will focus on the circular economy. Ian will be chairing one of the sessions (Circular Growth) and will talk about TRIS, (a project funded by Interreg Europe), due to the very strong circular economy link.
On 17th August, our Chief Executive, Peter Laybourn, will speak at an online workshop organised by a Portland Oregon based industrial ecology group called ResourceFULL Use. They focus mainly on by-product exchanges between Oregon manufacturing companies. The workshop will focus on human facilitation and online tools to support and educate. Peter will be contributing to
